Russian Strikes with Korean Missiles: North Korea Boldly Responds to Accusations

North Korea has expressed its reaction to reports that Russia used missiles from North Korea during attacks on Ukraine. The representative of North Korea at the UN, Kim Son, neither explicitly denied nor confirmed these facts, as North Koreans consider this information "unsubstantiated." The statement by Kim Son was published by the KCNA agency.

North Korea expresses dissatisfaction with the United States for making unfounded accusations and believes that the United States is the reason for Russia's war against Ukraine. According to the North Korean representative, Washington is attempting to weaken the military capabilities of Russia and expand NATO. Thus, instead of ensuring global peace, the United States, according to the North Korean diplomat, uses its actions to undermine it.

"The United States implicated North Korea, which has no relevance to the agenda under discussion. This is a vivid reflection of their challenging position in a difficult situation and only underscores their insufficient strength and means in strategic confrontation with Russia," said Kim Son.

Earlier, it was reported that North Korea might sell new types of ballistic missiles to Russia. This would be in addition to the anticipated deliveries of short-range ballistic missiles.
